In European PV wholesale, the quantity band you buy in is the single biggest lever on your unit price after the product itself. It also changes lead time and how much of the market can even quote you. Here is how the two ends compare.
Pallet quantities
A pallet is the practical minimum for volume buying — for 72-cell modules that is typically around 31 panels. At this level you buy from European stock, lead times are short (often 5–10 working days), and you pay a stock price rather than an import price.
- Best when you need goods fast for a specific project.
- Price is set by whoever holds the stock in Europe right now.
- Availability, not price, is usually the constraint.
Container quantities
A full container unlocks import-level pricing, but the trade is time and commitment. Lead times stretch because goods may move from further up the chain, and the best price depends on which supplier has the right batch at the right moment.
This is exactly where a sourcing engine earns its place: one request is checked against the whole market at once, so you see the best confirmed container price without calling twenty distributors — including the ones who never publish.
How to send the request
Whatever the band, give us the brand or spec, the quantity, and the delivery country. We reconfirm live stock and return one confirmed price, usually within hours.
