Open any PV marketplace and sort by price. The cheapest line looks like the win. Often it isn't — for three structural reasons.
1. The listing may be dead
Public listings decay. A price posted last week can point at stock that has already moved. You only find out after you've committed time to it — which is the opposite of fast.
2. Half the market never lists
The distributors with the strongest prices frequently refuse to publish, precisely because they don't want their numbers to become the market's new baseline. If you only shop what's visible, you're shopping a narrow, self-selected slice.
3. Cheapest and confirmable are not the same
A price you can actually buy at today, with stock reconfirmed before you commit, is worth more than a lower number you can't close. The best deals happen for buyers who have a confirmed offer in hand while everyone else is still searching.
The Fotosel position
We price in line with the market — competitive and profitable, never dumped — and we reconfirm stock before you commit. What stays private is the supplier's price, which is exactly why ours is usually better than anything you can see.
